Print of an etching, handcolored, on paper of a cartoon of a street scene with several men talking with white text balloons above their heads. In the center back, a man in a top hat and long, red coat walks near the entrance of a white columned bank building. He looks at a watch and carries a scroll listing Jewish names; above him is a text balloon: "I am in two minutes before my time to-day - I must see if you are all booked in my Way-bill." He addresses a group of 6 white haired men with large, pointed noses and worn clothing, who beg for money; on the sidewalk at their feet is text: "The Old Stock reduced." In the basket is a man, Nathan Rothschild, with a pointed nose and thick lips, waving 2 light red pennants, with the text: "Those who give to the poor lend to the Lord “Charity covers a multitude of sins." To the left, a gentleman stands on the sidewalk in front of a brick building called Capel Court, reading the Times newspaper, with the text balloon: "We stop the press to insure(?) that one of the greatest capitalists in the City -- has gone on a secret Financial Expedition."
